I know there are a lot of threads on this topic And they were making perfectly round bales all. I'm looking for current, real life experiences
Haliey Welch’s age and biography: Who is the ‘Hawk Tuah’ Girl
Here are some of the basics My neighbor was helping me out with their nh 7070 Orchardgrass is established stand that we have been drilling a small amount extra in the fall to fill in
As of now that would not have to be done this year
Also, do you have the software to do so Unless i did something wrong, i'm looking at about $220/acre/yr (what i sold hay for per acre for the year) A forum community dedicated to hay, forage and silage owners and enthusiasts
Come join the discussion about tractors, machinery, harvesting, soils, pests, ranching, reviews, accessories, classifieds, and more! Is it ruined or with drying will it be ok A little new to haying so just looking for some guidance from the experts here on the forum? So if that's the case, what are the most common small square hay bale dimensions made and sold (length x width x height)
Preferably, most common square bale dimensions below 50l x 30w x 30h
Thank you for your time 14 x 18 cross section We try for a 32 inch bale length. We almost never rake/bale high moisture hay so it’d seem there would only be very minimal dirt contamination
I can see how high moisture hay could have more dust and dirt to adhere to it Might plant a couple of fields that will be round baled These fields are on hills, are well drained and get a lot of sun Because of the terrain, the ground tends to be hot and dry out and timothy just won’t survive long, so i’m considering orchard grass
I'm looking for a long lasting.
With lighter hay (including 2nd and on cuttings), we may have doubled or tripled the windows (taking 2 or 3 mower passes together) 😂 i’ve been reading through some of the threads on the site and i think this will be the place i’ll find answers to some of my questions It is the bane of my existence!! I was baling silage yesterday with my jd 854 baler and i could not make a round bale
All the bales were lumpy I had the density turned up as high as i could and it still wouldn't make a good bale
