I intended to take a bunch of pictures and make sure i document my experience installing the sniper on my scrambler I'm trying to get from the. I probably did not get enough pictures or take enough botes, but here goes
Roony Moreira
To start off, i replaced a holley 4bbl carb mounted on an offenhauser intake I'm having a heck of a time finding an upper radiator hose that will fit Is it more carb than.
Ok, last week had a rough night and ended up blowing the fusible link that comes off the solenoid
Went back the next morning and fixed that, and when jeep fired up i noticed my fuel lines were cracked coming off the filter (stock 1 inlet, 2 outlet) Just bought a 1983 scrambler and doing some restoration to it I want to get 35's on it but need to add a lift kit I have been told that skyjacker has the best ride but also should look at old man emu
Need some experienced scramblers with some advice on these lift kits with the softest ride. Dedicated to complete builds, rebuilds and restoration threads from start to end. Had alcan 4 on a cj 5 loved them rode way better than the scrambler As for sway bars i had disconnects on both
The scrambler i unhooked and rehooked a couple of times unhooked and removed the sway bar
The cj 5 unhooked and rehooked a couple of times, hooked them up and never unhooked again as long as i owned it. Having a tough time finding a dipstick and tube for the 258 The straight 6 not so much Toying with the idea of keeping the scrambler (wife has already agreed) but this will definitely require performing an engine swap to make it long distance at 65 mph and partly to satisfy my need to tinker
:d was considering dropping in a 4.0 fuel injection engine with an automatic. I would like to know axle widths And as i dont have a jeep i cant mesure them myself. Scrambler sightings, humor, funny scrambler stories, etc.
Has anybody on here done a 350 tpi swap in their cj
